Opening Hours
Dempsey's is open from seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Deli is open throughout the day where our team will make you the freshest cold or hot sandwich, jacket potato, soup or hot snack just to your liking. Or why not Grab & Go at our island and retail counters, perfect for an express lunch when you are short of time.

Dempsey's Dining Room Food Served:
Monday - Thursday 9am-2:30pm (Close 4pm)
Friday 9am-6:30pm (Close 8pm)
Saturday 9am-4:30pm (Close 6pm)
Sunday 9am-3:30pm (Close 5pm)

Table Reservations
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND reserving your table in advance of arriving to Dempsey's to avoid disappointment. To make a reservation, simply book online using this website or give us a call on 01282 942366
For groups of 8 or more we require a food pre-order, we can assist you in many ways to collate this information to make it easy for you to organise. The simplest way of sending a pre order is by emailing us with the order to info@dineatdempseys.co.uk

Your table reservation will be made for one and a half hours, we kindly ask you to vacate your table after this time so that we can seat more guests.
Finding Dempsey's and Parking Arrangements
Dempsey's is located on Briercliffe Road and is situated on the ground floor of the new Dovestone Gardens development. As you are driving on Briercliffe Road, turn into the hospital and then immediately turn left into Dovestone Gardens. We have limited parking in front of the building on a first come, first served basis. Our parking is free of charge and is only permitted if using Dempsey's, cameras are in place to ensure the car park is correctly used.

If the barrier in the car park is up, feel free to use the additional parking at the rear of the building, the barrier will open automatically on exit.
Additional parking is available on the hospital car parks as well as nearby street parking, which is easily accessible, please respect our neighbours and ensure you are not blocking any driveways or access. Be aware though some local streets are resident only parking.

Food Allergies, Intolerance or Dietary Need
We know it can be tough to find places to eat that can cater for specific dietary requirements, allergies and food intolerance's.

Dempsey's takes an altogether different approach.
​
We we will make it clear what allergens our dishes contain so you can make a decision on choosing a delicious meal easily. Our kitchens do contain all 14 allergens so traces of these 14 allergens may be present within out food. Accessibility
Dempsey's is a fully accessible, step free, ground floor venue. We have a convenient drop off point at the main entrance and accessible parking bays. Inside we have a spacious dining room with tables that make it easy to pull up a wheelchair or walking aid and the tables we have installed are extremely sturdy should you wish to support yourself getting up out of your chair. Our dining chairs are super comfortable as you would expect in your own home, and we have fully accessible toilets.

Our toilets are gender neutral, so please feel comfortable and confident to use any of our toilets, each toilet has its own hand wash basin and dryer. You will also will find handy hooks on the back of our doors to put coats and bags.
British Sign Language (BSL)
Children and Babies
Dempsey's is extremely proud to support our deaf community and we hope you are able to meet one of our important team members Tom who may serve you food and drink during your visit. Tom is supported by an interpreter who may at times help relay through British Sign Language to Tom any questions or requests you may have when visiting Dempsey's.
Equally if you are deaf or use BSL Tom is generally working Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday's so feel confident you can visit Dempsey's and have an altogether different dining experience.

We have multiple highchairs, with or without tray tables so you can pick the ideal seating option for your young ones. We also provide
activities and colouring to keep children entertained, we even have a wall space especially for kids to pin up their colouring and artwork. Our children's menu is available seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is available by clicking here.

Baby changing facilities are located in the main toilets with a fold down changing board and nappy bin for convenience.
